Groom's side

Dave and I, Kindergarten

Best Man - Dave Schwarz. I have known Dave since Kindergarten. And despite his parents' many attempts to get him away from me, I have always been able to track him down. I have used their place to stay the night on more than one occasion when I was drifting through my teens, twenties, and thirties. Dave is one of the kindest guys I know, despite being a bassist. He is a great father, sound engineer and conspiracy theorist that occasionally doesn't know when to shut up.

D'Arcy and Mike's mustache

Not So Best Man - Mike Currie. I first remember Mike as that 'weird guy with the mustache in grade 8'. He also happened to be passed out in the hallway in front of my locker. It wasn't until an accounting class in Grade 11 that I really found out how funny of a guy he was. He was my inspiration, a man always too busy for me but always found the time anyways. He is always good for making fun of for being a Toronto Maple Leaf fan and his man-crush on Wendel Clark.


Good Enough Man - D'Arcy Davis. I first met D'Arcy in Grade 8 French, where he and his stoner friend bore an uncanny resemblance to Beavis and Butthead from his Iron Maiden jacket, his stoner laugh, to his super-cool grade eight mustache. Although he was only 13, his mustache was 18. He was the guy I didn't necessarily talk to but would give an acknowledging nod in the hallways as we ran in different circles. When we entered college I got to know that D'Arcy was more than just music and hair as we spent many a night testing out our livers and musical tastes.

Holly, Leanne and me, before legal drinking age. 

Maid of Honor - Holly Bressette. I met Holly in grade 11 when I moved to Prince George from Parry Sound to attend Kelly Road Secondary. Her and Leanne were my first best friends in BC. She was so kind and accepting and we connected right away. Although we haven't lived in the same town for a number of years, we have stayed connected through so many of life's changes. We visit less now that we both have families, however she is always there for me and sends me cute pictures of her baby boy!

Bridesmaid - Leanne Garrison. My other oldest bestie from Kelly Road. I don't know who I met first but through the years she has always been there for me, despite her crazy busy schedule and career goals. We share a love for Pink's bad ass music and deep conversations about life's craziness. She is the toughest, bravest lady I know!

Bridesmaid - Jessica Sehn. Jessica and I first met serving at the BX pub while we were working our way through university. We have spent more time together than two friends should, and managed not to kill each other in the process. We lived together and still our friendship survived. We have seen each other through some difficult life experiences and I don't know if there's anyone who 'gets me' quite like she does.
